I believe the best communications work starts with listening — to a community, a fanbase, a classroom — and ends with a story people want to share.
My work lives where strategy meets craft. At UC Santa Barbara Athletics I built fandom for 19 Division I programs. As Director of Communications for a 9,000-student school district, I owned the brand, the crisis plan, and the community's trust. Most recently, I carried that storytelling instinct into legal enterprise SaaS at Everlaw.
I care most about crafting stories accessible to all, whether it's the prospect just learning about your brand for the first time or the deeply entrenched longtime partner.

Where I've been
- Refined email marketing sequences by persona and product, increasing open rates 50% through A/B testing for the Everlaw AI Assistant launch.
- Optimized outreach messaging and positioning to earn a 2× month-over-month lift in prospect engagement.
- Generated and qualified leads for enterprise deals up to $1M ARR on the GTM front lines.
- Owned PR, communications, community engagement, and crisis management for a 1,000-employee district serving a diverse community.
- Built the strategic communications plan — student recognition, board transparency, and consistent EN/ES messaging — to grow trust and enrollment.
- Instituted Voice-of-Community research that slowed student churn 3×, and earned top-5% engagement among U.S. districts on the 2024 strategic-plan survey.
- Led design and project planning for the district's all-staff Event Day, end to end.
- Owned communications strategy across social, press, web, and podcasts for 19 sports teams.
- Hired and led teams of up to 4 interns to execute media relations and content.
- Created graphics, photography, and video in the Adobe Creative Suite under UCSB brand guidelines.
